The Cream Track - Private Property Bush Walking access permit

The track includes sections of difficult steep terrain, numerous creek crossings - is only suitable for walkers and is not certified as disabled access.  By request from Queensland Parks & Wildlife, no bicycles are permitted in Springbrook National Park.

Be prepared to handle the rough terrain (in terms of footwear and fitness levels), as opposed to the well-constructed tracks in Springbrook National Park on the plateau.

    Serenity Farm Section Access Agreement
The Cream Track passes through Serenity Farm, a private property encompassing a working cattle and sheep farm located at 2940 - 3000 Springbrook Road, Springbrook Queensland.  In exchange for permission to enter therein for the purpose of timely transit along the designated walking track, I agree to indemnify the owners of that property and its assigns from all claims associated with my brief occupation of that property in the full knowledge that dangers exist with respect to livestock, the operation of farm machinery, electric fencing, barbed wire fencing, difficult and steep terrain, dangerous flora and fauna and other risks.  In addition, I agree to waive my right to pursue legal and or material remedy for any personal loss, damage or injury which I may occasion en route to my destination and shall for my own safety remain on track and within 50 meters of the property's fenced Northern boundary at all times.  I understand that this permit is both required and issued expressly for the time and date stated below.

    Biosecurity Pathogen Control Agreement
Soil and detritus can contain pathogens such as fungal spores that are harmful to the forest and frogs.  To assist in stopping the spread of pathogens and other disease producing organisms such as phytophthora (PDF)*, myrtle rust and amphibian chytrid fungus), I agree to strictly adhere to the pathogen control protocols detailed below.

    • 1. Keep to designated roads and walking tracks at all times.
    • 2. Start and finish my bush-walk with clean footwear and camping gear by removing soil from footwear, camping spade or trowel and tent pegs before leaving an area and keep all gear as clean and free from soil as possible during the walk.
    • 3. Clean and disinfect my footwear and camping equipment using a disinfectant either at home or before visiting the track. Use pathogen control stations located at track entrances to the track if available.
    • For more information, watch the Stop the spread of weeds and pathogens web clip.

Navigation instructions for access via Serenity are provided upon completion of the permit.

To avoid trespass, a permit application must be completed for each member of your walking party.
